ABB has introduced the new S200U and S200UP Series of System Pro M Compact miniature molded case circuit breakers. The S200U and S200UP Series offers all the functionality of a molded case circuit breaker, combined with the features of a miniature circuit breaker. These features include: compact size, DIN rail mounting, current limitation, and multiple accessories (including busbar, aux. contacts, shunt trips.). They are available in 1, 2, 3, or 4 pole models. The S200U and S200UP breakers are UL489 Listed miniature molded case circuit breakers. These breakers are designed for use as branch circuit protective devices for circuits feeding either resistive or inductive loads. Suitable loads include: cables, duplex plugs, lighting, motors, transformers, and other loads where significant inrush currents are possible. The S200U series can be used in applications up to 240 volts AC, 10 kAIC, from 0.2 to 63 amps and the S200UP series up to 480Y/277 volts AC, 10 kAIC, up to 25 amps. These series are available in both standard European and North American current sizes.
